Both my mother and grandmother (in fact my great grandmother as well) would tell me
that vitamin C helps prevent colds and that the best source was fresh orange juice.
Well things haven’t changed and various scientific reports are confirming this.
Makes you wonder about old wives tale, doesn´t it?

A lot of research is being made on the effects and benefits of antioxidants and aging, including Alzheimer’s (AD).
They are indicating that a natural diet of vitamin C and vitamin E may lower the risk of Alzheimer disease.
The relationship between supplements is not quite so clear from what I see in the different reports.
