<p>However we do have some well known fruits and vegetables easily available that are very healthy for us.</p>

<p>Many studies and research papers over the last thirty years have found that vitamin C, has many beneficial aspects that are reflected in a healthier immune system, in healing of scratches and wounds, for skin cell damage and therefore anti-aging.</p>
<p>A brief mention of some vitamin c benefits would have to include:</p>

<li> that it lowers the risk of cancer because the immune system is in a better position to fight against tumor cells.</li>
<li> that it is a powerful antioxidant (by combating free radicals) and helpful against heart disease.
